I made a series of pieces on the fishermen of Guilvinec that I went to see working and that I drew and took pictures of.
It is a one-piece casting made using an old-fashioned technique, which makes it a rare quality piece.
I seek to honor the fishermen by showing their hard work. I like to translate the beauty of their gestures, their clothing and their physical expression.
Is it also a way to keep track of these old professions that have stood the test of time and may no longer exist in the future?
